GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) complexed with copper(II). The reconstituted solution is characteristically deep blue from the copper complex. Because vial sizes are large relative to typical doses, concentration choice matters: 50 mg in 5 mL gives 10 mg/mL, keeping a 2 mg draw at a readable volume. Copper peptide solutions are refrigerated at 2–8 °C and protected from light.
